Clinical Tech CA Position responsibilities
1) The Clinical Tech CA is under the direct supervision of the Office Manager. Any team/office issues should be addressed by theOffice Manager. Any clinical related issues are to be relayed to the Clinical Director/Assistant Clinical Director for reconciliation.
2) The Clinical Tech CA floats among Clinical exam room the x-ray room and the rehab area where the need is at the appropriate time.
3) Open and closing of office. a)TVs in warm up area, evolt, exam room, consults, x-ray suite. 4) Organize weights and posture straps after each shift.
5) Keep rehab area stocked with paper towels, items off the floor and equipment clean. Notify office manager for equipment replacements or office supply needs.
6) Day 1 and Day 2 x-rays. a)Upload evolt and thermogram to Dropbox folder before end of shift.
7) Primary exam tech for Progress Exams (TPEs and WPEs) a)Clinical Tech is responsible for updating the WebEx prescription at TPE1 appointment. b)Knowing up-to-date scripting for exams. c)Travel card updated before shift starts and completing and submitting to front desk after WebEx has been updated.
8) Checks ‘Rename and Upload’ folder daily at the end of shift to upload documents and put to top Vericle EHR.
9) Keeps radiology room up to date with state requirements related but not limited to radiology reports, radiology log, radiology handbook and dosimeters.
10) Daily Xray audit from taking xrays to pulling images up to top of Vericle account. a) Marking needs to be done same day. If not feasible ask for help from anassociate or complete before next shift. b) All xrays taken are sent to PostureRay. c) All xrays uploaded to PostureRay are marked. d) All marked xrays are uploaded to Vericle. e) All xrays uploaded to Vericle are pulled to the top of the Vericle account.
11) Assisting with patient rehab questions Day 1 Tours, walk throughs, Day 2 and Day 4,Day 5 explanations and any other time requested when not already with a patient.When not with patient in exam or x-ray, clinical tech is on the floor in rehab roomassisting with pt rehab.
12) In shift duties: patient exams, patient x-rays, pt rehab assistance, pt concierge and front desk liaison.
13) Post shift duties: uploading documents, x-ray marking, call patients who missed TPE/WPE back up to front desk if your work is completed, calling missed or late exams.
14) Be responsible for weekly KPI statistics and up to date SOP (standard operating procedures) for position.
15) Participate in weekly team trainings, clinical trainings, and weekly team meetings.
16) Records request, clinical requestL: Labs, X-rays etc.17) Be responsible for one trash day and a weekly huddle topic during a shift.
